It uses Demucs, the same open-source separation model family behind many paid services, so results are competitive. Sparse, well-recorded songs come out very clean. Dense, heavily compressed or heavily reverbed mixes can leave faint traces of the vocal — this is a limit of AI separation in general, not of this tool specifically.
